Poverty should be part of every candidate’s platform this election year. The 2024 election is an important opportunity to consider how our society addresses poverty, homelessness, affordable housing, and child care needs, from the national to the local level.
We work closely with the City of Detroit, neighborhood groups, service providers, and foundations in Detroit to improve economic opportunity and reduce poverty.
We work with community organizations and individuals in co-creating and seeking new solutions to prevent and alleviate poverty.
Our working papers and policy briefs include research from different academic disciplines.
Our projects focus on data, evidence, and equitable partnerships to bring about positive change.
