Cydney Gardner-Brown

American Rescue Plan Act Implementation Junior Fellow

Cydney Gardner-Brown is an American Rescue Plan Act Implementation Junior Fellow supporting digital inclusion and workforce development initiatives at the City of Detroit. Previously, Gardner-Brown worked on digital inclusion and community investment initiatives with the Rocket Community Fund and was a research assistant with Poverty Solutions as an undergraduate focusing on the digital divide and educational policy. She has also completed internship programs with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in the office of Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence (MI-14) and with the Detroit Justice Center.
Gardner-Brown has a bachelor’s degree in public policy and is passionate about public service. She tutors English as a second language in her spare time.


Detroit Partnership on Economic Mobility

The Partnership on Economic Mobility between Poverty Solutions and the City of Detroit is a joint effort to identify and implement concrete, evidence-based strategies that significantly improve economic opportunity and reduce poverty in Detroit.
