Karolina Ramos

City of Detroit Workforce Development Fellow

Karolina Ramos is a City of Detroit Workforce Development Fellow supporting the city’s implementation of American Rescue Plan funds. Previously, Ramos worked on global gender equality and data efforts at the United Nations Foundation and financial security and public benefits reform at the Aspen Institute. She also served in community development roles and as an AmeriCorps member for the City of Burlington, Vermont, and as a White House intern under the Obama Administration. Ramos earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the George Washington University.


Detroit Partnership on Economic Mobility

The Partnership on Economic Mobility between Poverty Solutions and the City of Detroit is a joint effort to identify and implement concrete, evidence-based strategies that significantly improve economic opportunity and reduce poverty in Detroit.
