Chardae Caine is the youth workforce development fellow, providing the City of Detroit and its
stakeholders with research and support in developing and implementing a comprehensive
opportunity youth strategy. Prior to joining Poverty Solutions, she worked as the research
associate for Kansas cities where she provided research, training, and advocacy for members.
Caine holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science, both
from Auburn University. She has always had a passion for public service and hopes to continue
expanding the skills needed to leave a lasting impact on the community.
