Achyuta Adhvaryu is an assistant professor at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and Research Affiliate at the International Growth Centre (IGC). Prior to his current appointment, he was an assistant professor at the Yale University School of Public Health. He received his PhD in economics from Yale in 2009. His research interests lie at the intersection of development and health economics. Recently, he has focused on the productivity and retention impacts of worker welfare programs, and evaluations of new business models for private sector healthcare delivery in low-income contexts.
