Susan Dorr Goold

Professor of Internal Medicine and Health Management and Policy

Dr. Goold has extensive experience engaging communities, particularly minority and underserved communities, in research and policy projects, often using deliberative procedures and mixed methods. With training and expertise in health services research, health policy, and ethics, her work emphasizes issues of resource allocation, conflicts of interest, justice in research, and trust relationships in health care and research. Recent work includes evaluation of the impact of Medicaid expansion in Michigan.
